If you’re interested in purchasing a new car in Dutch,  there are several things you should keep in mind.

First and foremost, it’s essential to make sure that the company you choose to buy from has been around for a while.

If the company is young and isn’t doing well, they may not be around to offer you any after-sale service at all.

This can quickly become annoying if your car breaks down shortly after purchasing it. Below is a list of the best Dutch car brands you can look forward to.

1. Donkervoort

Jos Donkervoort founded Donkervoort Cars, which specializes in designing and building lightweight performance vehicles.

It is designed to achieve high speeds with a small engine. They’re so popular as one of the best Dutch car brands with race drivers around Europe.

Additionally, their sports cars come with a 1.8-liter engine that can reach up to 200 mph (320 km/h).

And their D8 GTO car, which came out in 2011, can go from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) in 3 seconds!

We won’t be surprised if you fall in love on your first test drive. Some drivers have even compared its power and acceleration to a fighter jet!

2. Spyker

Spyker is a Dutch car brand based in Zeewolde, Netherlands. Spyker has since been bought out and restructured as an independent luxury automaker.

Other famous car brands from the Netherlands include Abarth, Fokker, DAF Trucks, and VDL Bus Chassis BV.

3. VDL NedCar

VDL NedCar is a Dutch automotive company known as VDL Groep, but in 2018, the name changed. The company is based in Born, Netherlands.

It has produced various Dutch car brands, such as bus and truck chassis, since 1934, and its current range includes commercial vehicles like trucks, buses, and coaches.

Before 2015, they also built supercars (under their former name VDL Groep). Their debut vehicle -the F5- went into production in 2011. But their most recent model -the F6-  replaced it in 2016.

4. Vencer

One of the essential Dutch car brands, Vencer, is a car manufacturer based in Nijmegen. The company has produced automobiles since 1983.

Also, it was not until 2005 that Vencer sold its first model, an SUV called the GTV6 4×4.

In 2006, it launched a second model called Vega 2000; in 2007, a third, known as Vega V86, was launched.

However, when economic conditions worsened in 2008 and 2009, sales plummeted.

Vencer’s fourth model, touted as one of Europe’s most environmentally friendly sports utility vehicles, went on sale in 2010, only to be discontinued three years later due to poor sales.

5. Waaijenberg

Waaijenberg was a Dutch automotive company based in Rotterdam. It produced cars from 1898 to 1917.

The company originated from a car dealership named Waaijenberg & de Vries in Rotterdam.

In 1908, it was taken over by Koolhoven, and production moved to Bussum.

The show ended in 1917 due to problems with funding during World War I. Later, Koolhoven moved on to making aircraft engines for Rijksvoogdij Maatschappij (RVM).

The number of cars sold is unknown, and production figures are no longer available because Koolhoven demolished all old documentation.

6. Vandenbrink

Vandenbrink is a very well-known car maker, not only in its home country but also abroad.

The brand was founded over 30 years ago, but it wasn’t until 20 years later that they started making their first Dutch car brands.

Since then, Vandenbrink has gained a reputation for creating luxurious vehicles designed to be comfortable and powerful.

As a result, many car enthusiasts consider their cars among some of the best in production today.

They say that those who drive them should take advantage of one if they have a chance. At least two very successful models come from Vandenbrink: The Twyfelfontein and Helvetia.

Conclusion
