The expense of fuel is not an issue for owners of supercars that consume large amounts of gas. Anyone who can buy one of these best MPG Sports cars can easily pay for all the fuel it consumes.

However, owners of these exotic supercars may be concerned about fuel economy and pollution.

Fuel efficiency is a critical consideration for the rest of us when choosing a vehicle

According to a Consumer Reports poll, 57 percent of car buyers identify decreased gasoline expenditures as a significant factor in choosing a fuel-efficient vehicle.

Additionally, Automobile manufacturers have recently incorporated innovative technologies to increase fuel efficiency in less-priced, high-performance sports cars

The vehicles listed below combine twisting road fun with fuel-saving technology and greater practicality and day-to-day usability over comparable models from previous decades.

Well, some of the best MPG Sports cars are:

1. 2021 Ford Mustang

The Ford Mustang V6 made headlines a decade ago as the first car with 300 horsepower and more than 30 miles per gallon fuel economy.

The naturally aspirated V6 is no longer available, and the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine has taken its place as the entry-level powertrain.

The four-cylinder turbocharged engine also produces 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. It can go up to 32 mpg on the highway with the 10-speed automatic transmission

A performance package is also available for the 2021 Ford Mustang EcoBoost.

It adds summer-only tires, a limited-slip rear differential, an active exhaust, a larger radiator, and several chassis upgrades, bringing the total output to 330 horsepower.

2. Bugatti Chiron

The Bugatti Chiron is the second-best MPG Sports Car right now. What makes a car so valuable that it costs $2,998,000? It isn’t the excellent gas mileage!

According to the EPA, the Bugatti Chiron only delivers 10/8/15 mpg in combined city and highway driving.

Perhaps it’s because Bugatti’s design philosophy states that “form follows performance.

When we found out about the power and aerodynamic improvement and realized the new aims to be accomplished by this car were so high,

And the only way to achieve this is to stick closely with engineering,” Achim Anscheidt, Director of Design at Bugatti, outlines the task of enhancing the Veyron.

Performance mainly entails removing heat from the front brakes and rear engine for our autos – the energy sources

3. BMW i8

The first entry on this list is, unsurprisingly, a hybrid. The i8 may look like it runs on dark matter and gets 30 parsecs per gallon.

But underneath all that sci-fi-style geometric bodywork is a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder gas-burner driving the rear wheels.

It has a single electric motor driving the front wheels, giving the i8 hybrid AWD capability.

You get 369 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque when you put it all together, enough to propel the i8 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

The hybrid powertrain also includes a variety of driving modes for both cruising and aggressive driving, allowing you to make the most of the available power sources regardless of your mood.

4. Ferrari 812 Super Fast

The Ferrari 812 Superfast is next on our list of best MPG Sports Cars. When the engineers at Ferrari came down to design this rocket on wheels, the name Superfast alone hints that fuel efficiency was not on their list of priorities.

The EPA estimates 12 mpg in the city, 16 mpg on the interstate, and 13 mpg overall.

However, the engineers concentrated on creating an aerodynamic marvel that housed a naturally aspirated Ferrari V12 engine, all for $315,000!

Additionally, it’s easy to believe Ferrari boasts the Superfast and reaches a top speed of 211 mph.

However, with an aluminum block, heads, and direct fuel injection, the 6.5-liter DOHC 48-valve V-12 develops 789 horsepower at 8500 rpm and 530 lb-ft of peak torque.

5. Porsche Cayman

Although Porsche has introduced technologies such as aluminum block engines with direct fuel injection to improve fuel efficiency, the company’s strategy is to focus on smaller machines with turbocharging to increase power and accomplish the majority of the advantages.

A good example is the Porsche 718 Cayman. A turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 16-valve flat four-cylinder has replaced the flat six-cylinder engine shared with the 911 in 2017.

The base model comes with a 300-hp 2.0-liter engine, while the S comes with a 350-hp 2.5-liter engine with a standard six-speed manual transmission.

The GTS model debuted in 2018 and features a 365-horsepower version of the 2.5-liter engine, brake-based torque vectoring, and adaptive dampers.

6. Telsa Model 3

Next on our list of best MPG Sportscars is the Telsa Model 3. While the data above relate to the Tesla Model 3, we’d like to highlight a few other electric vehicles (EVs) in this slide.

Otherwise, they’d be at the top of the list. The Tesla Model 3, Model S, Model X, the BMW i3, and Ford Mustang Mach-E are all included.

You’ll get full torque at 0 RPM no matter what you choose, allowing for quick acceleration.

Of course, the elephant in the room is where your electricity comes from. This can be utterly guilt-free driving if your grid is low-emissions.

Additionally, it’s a different story if your power comes from coal. Electric cars rely on the charging network to go great distances, and the charging infrastructure in the United States is growing year after year.

7. Karma Revero

The Karma brand has been around for a long time, first appearing on the trunk lid of a sports hybrid ahead of its time in 2012.

On the other hand, Karma has returned, and it now blends a performance mentality with modern gas/electric hybrid fuel economy. This time, however, it’s known as the Karma Revero.

While the first half of the name is new, the mechanical components are mostly the same as the previous Karma, including a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder internal combustion engine and two electric motors.

Furthermore, the engine produces 403 horsepower and a whopping 981 pound-feet of torque.

8. Mercedes Benz AMG SLC

The Mercedes Benz AMG SLC is also among the best MPG Sports cars worth buying.

The SLC is available in two different roadsters, including a folding hardtop with a photochromic glass roof that stows or lifts in 20 seconds at speeds up to 25 mph.

The SLC 300 has a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine that produces 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque.

It accelerates to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds and gets 25 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, and 27 mpg combined.

The AMG SLC43, which costs a little under $62,000, is the more thrilling version. Its agile twin-turbo V-6 produces 362 horsepower and accelerates to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.

In addition, the mileage for the performance-oriented SLC43 is respectable at 20/29/23 mpg.

9. Audi TT Coupe

The Audi TT RS model is a luxury sports car with a pleasant interior, elegant appearance, higher than average fuel efficiency for vehicles in its class, and plenty of high-tech options, starting at just under $65,000.

Furthermore, standard features include Bluetooth, full LED headlights, the Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, keyless entry/start, a rearview camera, heated front leather seats, and parking sensors.

A turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 20-valve inline 5-cylinder engine with an aluminum block, head, and direct fuel injection achieves fuel economy.

In addition, the use of aluminum reduced the weight of the prior iron variant by 42 pounds.

The TT coupe and roadster achieve 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the interstate.

10. ALFA Romeo 4C

The Alfa Romeo 4C is another unfiltered four-wheel bliss-makers we enthusiasts are always rambling about for pure driving experiences.

The 4C was designed as a budget-friendly mid-engine Italian sports car.

It has exquisite looks, perfect handling, a rev-tastic engine combination, a stripped-down attitude, and plenty of carbon fiber.

The carbon fiber keeps things firm and helps to reduce weight, allowing the 4C to weigh in at a svelte 2,465 pounds.

That’s not bad, considering the 4C’s turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine produces 237 horsepower and 258 pounds of torque.

11. Flat 124 Spider Abarth

Last on our list of best MPG Sportscars is the Flat 124 Spider Abarth sports car. The Fiat 124 Spider is frequently likened to the Mazda Miata for a good reason.

Many components are shared between the two automobiles, giving them similar handling characteristics.

Additionally, the discrepancies, however, are significant. Mazda engineering gives Spider its greatest strength.

The two cars have the same chassis. However, they have different engines and body panels. It is a little heavier than the Mazda at 2,436 pounds but still exceedingly light.

Furthermore, the driving nature is similar to a comfortable and smooth ride with agile handling when driven strongly.

The 124 Spider features a luxurious interior and custom suspension tuning. Three trim levels are available: Classica, Lusso, and Abarth, as well as upgrade options.

While the Miata has a normally aspirated 2.0-liter inline-4 that produces 155 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque., on the other hand, the Spider has a Fiat-Chrysler turbocharged 1.4-liter 4-cylinder that produces 164 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque.

Models from Abarth have a more excellent horsepower rating. The Spider’s fuel economy is comparable to the Miata, with 26 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the interstate.
